Engineered parquest blocks have the benefit of being uniform in size, ensuring that the flooring is laid smoothly and quickly, with tongue and groove edging to allow a tight fit. With a 10mm thickness of the wear layer above the tongue and groove, the floor can be sanded and polished several times in its lifetime, which in many cases will be longer than the life of the building in which it is installed.
